Welcome to Brookes Street Kindergarten, We are a community based Kindergarten operating during the Queensland Education school term, We have been operating in Nambour since August 1967, In 2011 our community kindergarten affiliated with the Gowrie Queensland, who are a community based, not for profit organisation with a proud history in providing holistic, responsive, high quality services for young children and families since 1940.
Brookes street is an Approved kindergarten program provider under the Queensland kindergarten funding scheme. We operate on a 4 day week offering 2 groups Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday both from 8:15am to 3:45pm. Each group consists of up to 22 children in each.

My husband and I are so impressed with Brookes Street kindy. As a teacher myself I have high standards, but I would highly recommend this kindy to anyone. Enrolling our child at Brookes Street is the best decision we ever made. The environment suits our son so much more than daycare. He is now happy at drop offs and has become quite confident. The centre always feels clean, calm and organised. I love how there are always multiple invitations to learn set out beautifully, and these vary daily. There is a gorgeous outdoor area and incredible resources, and sensory and nature play are incorporated so well. We look forward to sending our second child there too.
